Mysuru: A degree student who was on his way to attend his exam was killed after he lost control of his bike near Hinakal Ring road on Tuesday.
Vivek (18) a first year student of Dipal College in Belagaola on KRS road is the deceased. Few days ago, he persuaded his parents to purchase a Duke Bike for him. On the day of the incident, it is said that he was in hurry to reach college as he was already late for the exam.
When he reached Ring Road he lost control of the bike and took his vehicle to the left side of the road to gain control but hit the concrete drainage instead. He breathed his last after succumbing to head injuries. His friend Kushal also broke his leg in the mishap. Over speeding is said to be the sole reason for the incident.
VV Puram police have registered a case in this regard.
