Mysuru: Police have filed chargesheet against the accused in gang rape of MBA student in Chamundi Hills that rocked.the nation few months back.
A total of 1,149 pages of chargesheet was filed against six accused in the Third JMFC Court here. During interrogation it was found that one of the 7 arrested was not involved in the crime, and was released. The chargesheet was filed against the remaining six.
Police said that the court hearing has begun. Sections of IPC 397, 376B, 109, 120B, 334, 325, and 326, have been filed against the accused.
Meanwhile, a 1,410-page chargesheet has been filed in the 2nd JMFC Court here against 8 people accused of the gold shop robbery and murder. Sections IPC 396, 394, 120B, have been filed against the accused. Seven of the accused have been arrested and another accused is still at large and
police are searching for him.
