Power supply disconnection: Yatindra warns CESC Officer

Mysuru: Varuna MLA Dr. Yatindra Siddaramaiah on Friday January 7 came down heavily on Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Company (CESC) AEE for disconnecting power supply of villagers.

When villagers of Tadaguru complained to Yatindra during grievance meeting that CESC has disconnected power supply of local gram panchayat Yatindra rebuked the AEE Deepak. He said if there was non-payment of bills you should accept  money in instalments. When officer explained that there were pending bills since many months and GP owes more than Rs. one crore Yatindra told the officer that even if people give Rs. 500 you should accept it.

He said CESC officers did not disconnect power supply of the industrialists and private companies, and warned ofvaction against officer for disconnecting  supply without giving time to poor villagers.
