Regular user forgets helmet, loses life

Mysuru: A regular user of helmet who believed in the famous quote “Helmet saves life”, unfortunately lost his life when he forgot to take it. The ill-fated biker died of head injuries suffered in a collision with a goods auto in Mysuru on March 23.Youth Nandish (28), an employee in a sugar factory at K M Doddi is the deceased. Nandish used to wear helmet everyday on his way to work but unfortunately left it behind last night. This morning when he was returning from work he wanted to fill petrol in his bike. A speeding goods auto hit Nandish while negotiating a sharp curve, leaving the biker Nandish bleeding, eventually leading to his death.

The goods auto driver left his vehicle at the accident spot and is absconding.

K M Doddi police registered a case and are investigating further.
