SDMIMD to organize International Conference on ‘Managing Human Resources at Work

Mysuru: Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) Mysuru is organizing the 8th International Conference on ‘Managing Human Resources at the Workplace’ at its premise on December 6 and 7.

The conference will be inaugurated by internationally renowned professor Susanne Wilpers, Director of International Programs, Faculty of Business and Transport Management, Heilbronn University, Germany. Distinguished speakers from India and abroad, such as Professor Dr. Ashly H. Pinnington, Dean of Research, the British University in Dubai, and, Tajas S J, CEO, GI TAGGED, Bengaluru, will deliver the invited talks, during the event. In a panel discussion, distinguished women leaders, such as Suchitra Royroth, Vice President – Operations, Cyient DLM; Mary Vinay Uttarkar, Training Consultant, Theorem Inc; Nisha , Manager – HR, Mypol; and, Juin Choudhury, Director, Acharya School of Management, Bangalore, will deliberate on the issues and challenges for women executives at work. The conference is expected to witness participation from 200 delegates.

A pre-conference workshop is also scheduled to be held on December 5 at SDMIMD campus, on the ‘HR Metrics and Analytics’. Apart from the invited sessions on HR Metrics and Analytics, an expert panel consisting of , Goutham, Manager – HRIR, RadicoKhaitan Ltd; Pavan Kumar SH, HR-Business Partner – Mysuru &Halol, ABB India Limited; Arkadip Ghosh, Manager – HR Meritor & AAL, Mysore; and Balu, HOD, School of Commerce and Economics, Presidency University, Bengaluru, will discuss the topic ‘Using Data for Effective HRM’.
