KR Pet: Two students studying in SSLC went missing from the hostel meant for backward community students in Bhukanakere.
V S Ajit (16), son of Suresh, resident of Vittalapura and B C Arun (16), son of Channappa of Bommalapura are the missing students.
The students left the hostel after breakfast but did not attend classes. When the students did not return to the hostel in the evening, the hostel authorities inquired with the school Principal. When principal confirmed that both did not attend classes, hostel authorities tried to contact their family members and relatives to trace them.
When their efforts did not bear fruit, a missing complaint was finally lodged at KR Pet rural police station.
