Mysuru: Lashing out at former MP H Vishwanath, Member of Parliament from Kodagu Prathap Simha said that the latter needs mental treatment.
Speaking to media persons, Simha criticised Vishwanath for comparing Prime Minister Modi to a dog and said, “Vishwanath should behave properly being a senior politician. He has undergone physical treatment but actually he is in need of mental treatment as he is resorting to meaningless statements.”
Earlier Vishwanath had commented, “Modi has compelled everyone to stand in front of the banks/ATMs to get their own money. Several people have lost their lives. Is there no value for their lives? A dog under a bullock cart thinks that it is pulling it. But it is not aware that it is walking under the cart’s shadow and that something else is dragging it. This is similar to our PM’s situation now.”
Simha also made scathing remarks against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for postponing the Assembly session in the wake of Akrosh Diwas opposing demonetisation.
