Mysuru: Clearing the ground for his son’s entry into electoral politics in the state, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that if people offer their support Yathindra will contest the next assembly elections.
Addressing journalists in front of his house in Mysuru, CM said that his son will address people’s problem henceforth and people of Varuna constituency are free to come forward and contact him. At the same time he clarified that none can force one’s entry into politics, but when people come forward the issue gets automatically sorted out.
After the Dasara celebrations, the vacant posts of presidents for state boards as well as replacement of those whose tenure has ended will be filled, he confirmed.
The CM further said, the Central team will survey the prevailing water situation in the state and the facts they gather will come to state’s aid in future. The Central and state teams will conduct joint survey on the drought situation in the state and collect relevant data for suitable action, he said.
