Chikkaballapura: The Chikkaballapura District Administration is planning to shut the famous Nandi hills for the tourists for the next two months to take up the repair works.
It can be recalled here that last week following heavy rainfall this hill station witnessed landslide destroying the steps and the bridge. The fire brigade was summoned to rescue 25 tourists who were stuck inside the hills.
According to the sources, the District Administration has estimated 2 months time for the reconstruction of the bridge, and damaged steps. “There is no possibility of reopening the hill station for tourists for next few weeks,” added the sources.
