Dharwad: NCC students organized an awareness march to promote environmental conservation and ecology as part of the World River Day campaign, held at Kelageri Lake.
The procession that commenced at Kelageri Lake in Dharwad and traversed different areas of the city featured NCC students. They enacted a play highlighting the negative consequences of plastic usage and conducted door-to-door campaigns in the local community to raise awareness about environmental conservation.
The procession was jointly organized by Government First Grade College, Dharwad, JSAS College, Presentation Girls’ School, and KNK Girls’ School, in collaboration with the NCC Wing. The event witnessed the presence of NCC officer Lt. Vidya Raikar, along with Victoria Jhalke, Sujata Thuppad, Havaldar Chandrapal Singh, Havaldar Gaikwad, and other participants.
