A Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus traveling from Bhatkal to Bengaluru via Jog Road caught fire in Sagar town, Shivamogga district. The incident occurred as the bus was en route, and flames erupted suddenly, prompting the driver to stop the vehicle immediately.
All 12 passengers aboard the bus were able to evacuate safely before the fire consumed the entire bus. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported.
