Travel Boosts, physical and mental energy for an enriched life

Kottigehara: Lohith, Assistant Director of the District Tourism Department, emphasized that traveling enhances both physical and mental energy while uplifting the zest for life.
He made these remarks following his involvement in a tree plantation event jointly organized by the District Administration, Tourism Department, Chikkamagaluru Resort, Homestay and Hotel Association, Sunkasale Gram Panchayat, Jeep Association, and Bull Tusters in Sunkasale. This event was held in celebration of World Tourism Day and was followed by a cleanliness drive at Ranizari Ballalarasayana Durga.
Tourism has evolved into a significant industry in modern times, and there is a notable rise in the influx of tourists to various destinations. He highlighted that traveling mentally equips individuals to cope with the challenges of life’s busy and demanding nature.
Addressing the gathering, Padmaraj, PDO of Sunkasale Gram Panchayat, expressed, “Traveling, as the saying goes, ‘Desha Suthu, Kosha Oodu’, enhances knowledge and fosters a more open-minded perspective. He emphasized the rejuvenating effect of visiting natural landscapes. Also in attendance were Vice-President Vijendra from Sunkasale Gram Panchayat, along with members D.Y. Suresh, Pratima, Suma, FDC Nagaraj from the Tourism Department, Devendra, President of the District Government Employees Association, as well as members from the Resort, Homestay, and Hotel Association, Jeep Association, and Bull Tusters.”
