Two people stuck in 60-feet-deep well rescued in Puttur

Mangaluru: In an incident reported from Keyyur village Puttur taluk of Dakshina Kannada District, a middle-aged woman stuck in a well and her husband were rescued by the Fire and Emergency Services Department.

The incident said to be held on Monday August 30, the 48-year-old woman Sunanda was rescued from a 60-feet-deep well. The woman accidentally fell into the well while she was drawing water.

Her husband Sadashiv Rai, who got down to help her got stuck too. And that is when alert neighbours informed the Department, whose team rescued the duo.
