Dr. Sheikh Vahid Udupi, General Secretary of the KPCC Minority Committee, marked the birth anniversary of Imran Pratap Gari, a state assembly member and president of the National Congress Minority, by distributing fruits to patients at the District Hospital in Udupi.
Dr. Vahid emphasized the importance of supporting patients in distress, stating, “It is our duty to respond to patients in distress. Many patients at the District Government Hospital are receiving treatment under severe conditions. I wish them all a speedy recovery and inquire about their health.”
During the event, Dr. Vahid also met with District Surgeon Dr. Ashok, offering his support and promising any necessary assistance. A total of 100 patients received fruits as part of the occasion.
The event saw the presence of several local figures, including Sadhik, businessmen Sumanth and Royce Fernandes, Taluk Land Justice Board member Riyaz Palli, Udyava Grama Panchayat member Wilson Sequeira, and Abdul Munaf, who joined in extending support to the patients.
