In a somber turn of events, Prashanth (37), a junior health inspector at a Community Health Centre in Byndoor, was found dead at a lodge in Kundapur. The inspector, originally from Shivamogga, had checked into the lodge on September 5. Authorities suspect that he ingested poison, leading to his untimely death.
Prashanth, who had been vocal about his mental health struggles, frequently shared his distress with friends. His death leaves behind a grieving wife and a child. The Kundapur police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact circumstances surrounding his death.
