Vote Counting Venue and Guidelines for Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha


The process of counting votes for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency will commence at St. Cecily Educational Institute, Brahmagiri, from 8 am on June 4th. However, only individuals meeting specific criteria will be granted entry to the venue.


According to a press release by Dr. K Vidyakumari, the district election officer and deputy commissioner, only election observers authorized by the Election Commission of India, election officers, assistant election officers, counting staff, contested candidates or their election agents, authorized counting agents, and media personnel with permission from the Election Commission will be allowed entry.

For inquiries or complaints related to the vote counting process, individuals can contact the helpline numbers #102, A Block, Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Rajatadri, Manipal, at 1050 or 0820-2574802. Additionally, a special control room will be operational 72 hours prior to the commencement of vote counting. Members of the public can seek information or register complaints either via phone or by visiting the control room directly.
