Mangaluru: As part of the year-long project of reaching out to different groups that have difficulty with accessibility to mental health under the WHO theme ‘Mental Health In Unequal World-2021,’ Anirvedha, a fully-fledged resource center for psycholgical wellbeing for assessment, therapy and training in collaboration with NewsKarnataka has been conducting wellbeing sessions for various target groups.The target group for the November session would be government school students, as the month marked Children’s Day.
The two-hour session from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm will be on life skills and psychological development which will be held on Saturday November 20 at Government Upper Graded Primary School, Boliya, Mangaluru.
The children from class 4 to 8 which is about 35 students will be the participants of the programme. Two staff from Anirvedha will be conducting the session at the school.
The goal of the programme is to reach out to groups that are otherwise denied accessibility and provide them with agency on working on their psychological wellbeing.
