Puttur: The residents of Nellikatte and Otagajje under the limits of Aithooru Gram Panchayat are put to inconvenience by the Gram Panchayat as the approach road has been dug up to develop the same.
However, as a further inconvenience, the whole road has become muddy due to heavy rains. Vehicles are unable to take this road. Pedestrians too are facing danger while traversing the path.
As citizens of these villages depend on nearby villages for their daily needs, the deteriorated roads have cut them off from other villages rendering them helpless when it come sir fetching their daily essentials.
Students are having harrowing experience as they have to take nearly two kilometres on railway bridge and cross dangerous electrical wires to reach their school. Railway bridges are 50 feet high and has no protection on either side. Due to this school children’s lives are in danger.
