Man leaves one-star gym review after girlfriend cheats with fellow gym member

A man from Pune gave a one-star rating to his local gym after discovering that his girlfriend had cheated on him with a fellow member. The man, who had been working out with his girlfriend at Cult gym in Kalyani Nagar, expressed his frustration online, claiming that another gym-goer, named Abhishek, had “broken the bro code” by becoming romantically involved with his girlfriend.

In his now-viral Google review, the man began by praising the gym, stating, “The place is nice, people are good.” However, he gave it a one-star rating, saying, “My girlfriend Shruti cheated on me with a guy named Abhishek at the centre.”

He explained that at first, he thought Abhishek and Shruti were just friends, but the relationship eventually grew serious. “I even shared my protein shake with Abhishek but he betrayed me,” the man wrote, adding that now Shruti and Abhishek work out together, while he is left alone.

The review quickly spread on social media, where users flooded the comments section with reactions, making light of the situation. Some joked, “This gym didn’t ‘work-out’ for him,” while others added, “Letting someone in on your protein is crazy,” and “Can’t tell if bro is more sad about the protein shake or his girlfriend.”
