Bantwal: Actor Surendra Bantwal was found murdered in his BC Road flat in Bantwal on Wednesday, October 21.
According to police sources, it is suspected that a financial dispute is the motive behind the murder. An investigation into the incident is underway.
Surendra Bantwal has acted in several Tulu and Kannada films.
In June of 2018, the Coastalwood actor was arrested for threatening BJP workers in Bantwal town with a sword. A video of the episode had gone viral. Later on, he was associated with right wing outfits.
