Mangaluru: There are no differences in the BJP party and both chief minister B S Yediyurappa and minister K S Eshwarappa are united, said BJP national general secretary and in-charge of Karnataka, Arun Singh, on Thursday April 8.
He was speaking to the media at the airport during his visit to a private programme of BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel. When asked about Eshwarappa’s letter to the Governor against Yediyurappa for ‘interfering’ in the affairs of his Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (RDPR) department, Arun Singh assured that all leaders are united within the party. “Eshwarappa is senior-most leader in the party. He has also worked as party president and deputy chief minister. I have spoken to him and there is no confusion. But he should not have written a letter. But now, it is ok and I have spoken to him. Both, Eshwarappa and Yediyurappa are united. There are no differences of opinion in the party,” he stated.
He said that after attending state BJP president’s private programme, continuously for three days, he will be campaigning in the bye-elections for the Belgavi Lok Sabha constituency and Basavakalyan and Maski assembly constituencies.
“Our party workers are working hard and Congress party is making continuous conspiracies. There is no people’s mandate for Congress in the state. Congress will lose the elections. It will lose the elections by a huge margin of votes. BJP workers are working with immense effort. Good works are going on under the leadership of Yediyurappa,” he said.
