Mangaluru: Srinivas and Pushpawati, secretary of the Women’s Forum of Sri Subramanya Sabha in Mangalore, have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary by donating Rs 1 lakh to the old age home.
At the same time, the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary by exchanging garland and cutting sweets made by finger millet instead of cake.
The couple has extended a helping hand by distributing free notebooks to the students of the Chitrapur Government School in the past years.
