Mangaluru: On Friday April 23, a fire broke out at the head office of Mangaluru Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank on St Aloysius College Road, Hampankatta. Although the exact reason is not known yet, it is said that the fire broke out from the server room of the bank. The incident was reported at around 12 noon.
The building caught fire when the employees were working and soon as smoke engulfed the premises, they came out from the bank and alerted the Emergency and Fire Services officials.
Three Emergency and Fire Services vehicles rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
