Mangaluru: “The memories made from emotions motivates us to cultivate familial relationship. Such memories also help us in sharpening our brains,” said Dr D P Sambath Kumar, HOD of Kannada department at SDM college.
He was speaking after inaugurating the activities under the Kannada department for the year at Samyuktha Darshana stage of the college.
“Not only knowledge, one should have right balance of emotions for strengthening of relationships,” he said. “The students who have taken up Kannada have made their names internationally today,” he added. He advised the students to make use of the opportunities provided by the college.
Cultural celebrations were also held as part of the programme.
