Mangaluru: An unfortunate incident where in a youth succumbed to an accident at Puttur-Savanoor Road has been reported here late night on March 21 Sunday.
The youth has been identified as Chethan from Kodagu and was returning from a fair in a nearby village along with a friend in pillion. Pillion rider, Sudeep is from Bellare and said to be seriously injured in the accident. He has been admitted to KMC Hospital, Mangaluru.
Chethan was staying in a hostel and was a final-year-student at Vivekananda College, Puttur.
