Mangaluru: Responding to the speculations that his name has been proposed as Chief Ministerial candidate, District In-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said that in a democracy people have the right to say or propose anyone’s name as everyone’s opinions deserve respect. However, in BJP there is no room for any confusion, he stressed.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday July 25 on the sidelines of his visit to check upon Former Union Minister Oscar Fernandes being treated at the Yenepoya Hospital, Poojary said that as a true party worker he always abides by what the party high command has to say and at the same time respects everyone’s opinions. It is the same with Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa. He has been a true party worker and always stressed on treating the party like his own mother, he added.
Stating that BSY’s conduct has been exemplary, the minister said that CM’s commitment to abide by the words of high command is an inspiration to every party worker in BJP. He would also reiterate and maintain that he will go by the high command’s words with rest of the decisions being left to them, he expressed.
