Mangaluru: The Sevanjali Charitable Trust (R), in association with KMC Hospital, organised a blood donation camp at the T V Raman Pai Hall in Kodialbail on Tuesday, May 26.
Inaugurating the camp, Mangaluru South MLA and Sevanjali Charitable Trust president D Vedavyas Kamath said, “Blood donation helps save a life, which is considered as a noble service. As the KMC blood bank has a shortage of blood, the members of the Sevanjali Charitable Trust have voluntarily come forward to donate their blood. Along with the members, the well wishers of Sevanjali Charitable Trust also have come forward to donate blood.”
Informing about the other charitable activities of the Trust, Kamath said that the trust is also helping to those who cannot afford proper education and health services. “The Trust’s charitable works will continue in the future with the cooperation of the public,” he added.
Mayor Divakar Pandeshwar, Trust’s office bearers Mangalpady Naresh Shenoy, Hanumanth Kamath, Naresh Prabhu, Chethan Kamath, KMC blood bank officer Bhavanishankar and others were present.
