Mangaluru: Youth Missing from Badagulipadi After Leaving Note About Debt

Mangaluru: A young man, aged 21, named Nikhil Raj, has gone missing from Mallali Matti, located in the Badagulipadi area. He is the son of Ramachandra and was last seen on the evening of April 11.

As per the complaint submitted by his family, Nikhil stepped out of the house around 9 pm and did not return. Before leaving, he took 40 grams of gold from the household cupboard. He also penned a note explaining that he was facing serious financial troubles and was burdened by debt.

In another concerning detail, Nikhil returned a mobile phone belonging to a female companion, which he had been using, before his disappearance.

Nikhil is described as being approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, of medium build, and has a wheatish skin tone. He is known to communicate fluently in Kannada as well as Tulu.

Authorities at the Bajpe police station are actively investigating the matter and have appealed to the public to come forward with any leads. Family members and law enforcement officials are deeply worried and are urging anyone who might have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to assist.
