Mission Vidyakashi: Hubballi’s Push to Help 8,000 Slow Learners Pass SSLC Exams
Hubballi: Faced with a decline in SSLC exam performance, which placed the district at 24th in Karnataka, the Hubballi district administration has initiated Mission Vidyakashi to uplift struggling students. The initiative targets approximately 8,000 slow learners who are at risk of failing the crucial SSLC examination in March 2025.
The students, identified through attendance records and performance in assignments, were promoted to Class 10 but require focused attention to clear the exams. With nearly 30,000 students from government-aided and unaided schools registering for the SSLC exam, preparing this specific group has become a significant challenge for educators.
Mission Vidyakashi aims to provide intensive coaching, regular evaluations, and tailored learning strategies to instill confidence in these students and ensure they achieve passing marks. The district administration, in collaboration with education department officials, is working to create an environment conducive to learning while addressing the unique needs of each student.
Educators and officials remain optimistic that the mission will not only improve the district’s overall performance but also provide these students with a solid foundation for their future education.
