Inefficiency of Cong govt has led to spurt in crime: CT Ravi

Mangalore: “The inefficiency of the Congress government has been responsible for rise in blackmailing, drug mafia, and kidnapping for prostitution as well as love jihad,” alleged BJP leader and former minister CT Ravi.

Addressing the media in the city on January 1, Wednesday, he said “More than 3,000 women  have gone missing in the state over the past few years, there has to be a connection between the Derlakatte case and the missing cases” suspected CT Ravi.

He further alleged that the Congress government had not taken  proper measures in terms of the security and protection towards the youth and women in the state. He further questioned why the Congress government which was threatening to invoke Goonda Act against criminals, not doing so in case of the Derlakatte case accused.

He recalled the  Padil homestay attack case and the blame put on the BJP government then by the Congress. But what is the Congress government doing now, he questioned.

He further said the BJP will have to stage severe protests if the government fails to curb such acts.
