Karkala : A young woman died of heavy bleeding after the delivering her first child here at the Government hospital on Thursday March 20.
The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Susheela, wife of Sadhu residents of Nellikaru.
Reportedly it is known that Susheela gave birth to a boy child in the morning hours, it was a normal delivery however around 3 pm she developed some complications.
Soon after Susheela was rushed to Wenlock hospital for treatment but she died on the way.
Suresh brother of the deceased has registered a complaint alleging the negligence of doctor on duty. He has accused Dr Vikram Hebbar and nurse Latha and Jayalaxmi.
A case has been registered and the postmortem was conducted at the Manipal Kasturba Medical Hospital.
