Mysore :MLC Raghu Achar has exuded confidence that the Congress would emerge victorious in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking to the media at a private hotel in the city on Monday April 14, he predicted that the Congress would win over 20 seats in the state and would emerge victorious by a margin of over 65000 votes in Mysore.
He described the Congress party as a family and stressed the need to defeat Modi who was trying to break the unity of the Congress.
Responding to the comments of Narendra Modi on former prime minister Deve Gowda, Achar said it was not proper on the part of Modi to speak lightly about a former PM.
On the BJP candidate of Mysore, he said he had no chances of winning and was only making sound like that of a stone in an empty tin.
Congress leader HA Venkatesh and others were present.
