Mysore : Go. Madhusudan, MLC has made a serious allegation that cash was being unauthorisedly transported din the vehicles of sector magistrates in the district.
Addressing press persons at a private hotel in the city on Tuesday April 15, he alleged that government machinery was being misused in the district. He said on Monday night cash has been distributed unauthorisedly to all Congress workers of the district, at the residence of Chandrakumar of Kuvempunagar. “Chandrakumar is the relative of Vishwanath’s wife and around Rs 9 crore was being distributed. When I visited the place, I found that bundles of notes transported in sector magistrate’s vehicles were distributed to Congress workers in all constituencies.Though I immediately informed election officials, they though visited the house and the spot, said they could not find any cash.” Madhusudan said. “Then were they election hand bills? Or are they the slaves of the chief minister?” he questioned sharply.
He further alleged that government machinery is misused in the constituency which is a must win for the CM. It is only in Mysore district that the official machinery is misused to such an extent,he said.
With just two days to go for the elections, there are plans to distribute cash during night time by resorting to power cuts, he alleged.
BJP leader KR Mohan was also present at the press meet.
