Mumbai: A young man is mercilessly beaten, punched and kicked by six men who also try to run him over in Mumbai’s Malad. The savage assault, which led to the man’s death hours later, has been caught on CCTV camera.
The son of a policeman, Amol Ghuge, is among six people who have been arrested for the murder of 22-year-old Afzal Beg.
Afzal was hospitalized after the thrashing, and died last evening.
Reports say Afzal and his friend were riding a motorcycle when the attackers stopped them and an argument began.
Amol Ghuge allegedly dragged Afzal off the bike and started hitting them. His friend reportedly managed to get away and drive off.
The police say Afzal was beaten till he stopped moving. The attackers then left him and ran away.
Hours later, the police arrived after a call and took the man to the hospital.
