MP Karandlaje accuses Congress of misusing power

Date : 20-12-2015

Karkala: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje has alleged that Karnataka state government has misused their power by not making adequate use of the funds granted by the central government.

“The state Urban Development Minister himself has revealed foul play by the government. None of the departments have made adequate use of grants sanctioned by the centre. On the other hand, the state government has not initiated any action against sluggish officials. The Siddaramaiah led government has failed on all fronts. The upcoming zilla and gram panchayat elections will teach them a good lesson,” Karandlaje said, adding that Rebel Congress candidates contesting the MLC polls themselves reflected the differences in the Congress party.

Karandlaje expressed confidence that the BJP candidate is going to win by a huge margin. “The BJP will win at least in 12 constituencies,” she said.

MLA V Sunil Kumar and District President Vikramarjuna Hegde were present among others.
