Mysuru: Police briefing parade ahead of PM visit

Mysuru: Mysuru Commissioner of Police Dr. Chandragupta held a briefing parade on Friday June 3 at CAR Parade Ground at the foot of Chamundi Hills here ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Heritage City on June 21 for the event to mark International Day of Yoga.

Every week on Friday, the Police Parade is conducted at CAR Parade Ground in the City. In view of the PM’s scheduled visit to the City, a special briefing was held by Dr. Chandragupta regarding the security instructions.

He gave instructions to police officials on how the security must be maintained without any breach of security. He also instructed them on the tight security and on the path of the PM’s arrival, event location and surrounding areas. Dr. Chandragupta gave clear directions and strict orders to the Civil and Traffic Police Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors on Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Special Protection Group (SPG) security protocols and their implementation for all the chief guests.
