Vijayapura: In a shocking incident, a man died by suicide coming under moving train in the City.
The incident took place on the Ibrahimpur railway track near Ganesha Nagara in the City. The deceased has been identified as Gururaj Purohit (45), a resident of Gadagi Layout.
At around 7.00 am on Saturday November 12, he succumbed to his injuries when he was hit by a train running between Mumbai and Gadag. The railway police, who visited the spot, conducted an inspection.
A case has been registered under Vijayapura Railway Police Station limits.
