Bidar: Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah said “If there is a poor person of any religion or caste, the owner of the house will be given financial assistance of Rs. 2,000 per month and thus Rs. 24,000 per year. Each household will get 200 units of electricity and the poor will get 10 kgs of rice free of cost,” he added.
“BJP State President Nalin Kumar is like a Joker. He had recently said that opposing ‘love jihad’ is more important than the construction of roads and gutters. He further alleged their job is to build people up one against to other. The voters should teach a lesson to those who do not think about the development of the State,” he said.
“The people of the State are fed up with the BJP rule. It is because the politics of BJP is filled with hatred, Hindutva, Communalism and division of society,” he said.
“The BJP has no respect for the Constitution. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar has written a great Constitution. However, after the Constitution was framed, Hedgewar, V. D. Savarkar, Golwalkar and Ghodse have spoken against the Constitution. For the BJP, these are the deities. It worships those who killed the Mahatma. The BJP is their descendant,” he said.
“I had recommended thrice to the Central Government to include Gond, Rajagonda, Kurubas and Koli communities in the ST Category’. However, it is yet to be approved by the double-engine Government. If you have self-respect, don’t give a single vote in the election,” he said.
