Research from several nations and cultures has shown a clear link between binge drinking and violence against intimate partners, regardless of whether the couples are heterosexual, gay, lesbian, bisexual, married, cohabiting, dating, or just having casual relationships. A drunk husband that hurts his woman and kids does not reserve respect or love. Words can affect a kid’s life and this can result in low self-esteem. You can’t live in such an awful condition and can’t let your kids have this kind of environment for them. Kids will also get depressed by this behaviour. No one deserves to be verbally abused.
Wounds heal, mental issues are hidden and they do damage to anyone suffering. Statistically, these situations do not get better over time. Things will get worse. The kids will grow up learning to accept abuse as normal, and likely suffer the same in their assault relations.
