Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy said that there is no question of withdrawing my statement about the DNA of Marathi Peshwas, nor will I apologise. He said while challenging the BJP to go to the polls by declaring the person he mentioned as the Chief Ministerial candidate.

Speaking to media persons at ptarty Office in J. P. Bhavan, Kumaraswamy launched a scathing attack on Pralhad Joshi and lashed out at those who are distorting his statement and spreading misinformation. “i have not said who should become the Chief Minister from the BJP. Let them make anyone the CM. If needed let them announce that Pralhad Joshi as the CM,” he said.

“I don’t come from a family that insults any society, bra6hmin or Dalit. In this Country’s system, anyone can become the Chief Minister and Prime Minister. However, the BJP is going to make this particular person the CM, I have no objection. The objection is about his origin,” Kumaraswamy said.
