Munawar Faruqui, who emerged as the victor of Bigg Boss 17, was one among several individuals apprehended following a raid conducted at a hookah bar situated in Mumbai’s Fort vicinity during the previous night. According to authorities, a case was filed against the suspects, who were subsequently released subsequent to interrogation.
The Social Service Branch of the Mumbai Police executed the raid at the Sabalan hookah bar located in Bora Bazaar following a tip-off they received.

A police official informed the press, “Our team took action based on intelligence suggesting that the patrons were partaking in hookah consumption containing tobacco, disguised as herbal hookah.”
The official further stated, “Should it be determined that the individuals did indeed engage in tobacco-based hookah usage, they will face charges under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act.”
