According to an official on Wednesday, Delhi Police have filed a FIR for reckless driving and have detained 35 people on 28 bikes while they were filming group bike rides for social media.
According to the police, out of the 35 riders, three or four are minors, and they are all Delhi residents. They were in communication with one another via a WhatsApp group.
The crackdown came after persistent reports of a group of bikers congregating for reckless rides on city roads.

But during their most recent excursion, they were apprehended by the police, which was a bad turn of events.
The New Delhi district’s Parliament Street and Kartavya Path Police Stations collaborated on the operation.
According to Devesh Kumar Mahla, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi), a patrolling staff member saw a group of bikers driving carelessly and rashly on Wednesday at around 3.30 a.m.
“They alerted other staff on night patrol and with well-coordinated and communicated efforts, 28 two-wheelers along with their riders were apprehended,” said the DCP, adding that they came in small numbers and gathered at Gurdwara Road.
