IndiGo, the largest airline in the country, is set to pioneer in-flight entertainment content for its passengers, starting with a three-month trial on the Delhi-Goa route from May 1.
The airline announced on Tuesday that it would conduct a trial of in-flight entertainment content, accessible to customers through the IndiGo app while in flight.
According to the release, the trial will commence on May 1, 2024, and will be available to passengers traveling between Delhi and Goa for three months.
To ensure the safety of aircraft electronics, the service will activate only after reaching cruising altitude, the airline emphasized. Passengers will need to bring their personal headphones to utilize the service.
Following the successful trial period, the service is expected to be fully implemented across the airline’s operations, the release confirmed.
IndiGo boasts a fleet of over 350 planes and operates approximately 2,000 daily flights.
