Kalburgi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that Congress candidate Radhakrishna will definitely win in Kalburgi Lok Sabha constituency this time.

He was speaking after inaugurating a public meeting on behalf of the Congress party’s Lok Sabha candidate Radhakrishna and welcomed the BJP leaders who joined the party.

Last time, Mallikarjuna Kharge lost in Kalburgi Lok Sabha constituency, it was not a loss to him. His defeat was a huge loss to the state and the district. The CM called upon the people not to make the same mistake this time and also appealed to make Congress candidate win the election who is in favor of development.

Mallikarjuna Kharge was the main reason behind enactment of 371J. It was due to his struggle and hard work, 371J has been implemented in this part and it has been a boon to millions of families, the CM said.

BJP had categorically refused to approve 371J. But because of Kharge, the constitution was amended. As a result, 371J is a big advantage for this region, he said.

The state government has provided Rs 5,000 crores for the development of Kalyana Karnataka districts through KKRDB. “Our government has fulfilled the promises by implementing five guarantees and development programmes for the prosperity of all castes and all religions,” he said.

The CM challenged to show any example of Modi implementing a single program for the progress and prosperity of poor Indians and middle-class Indians in ten years as Prime Minister.

“Everyone in the country knows that Modi and his team are utter liars who have stolen our guarantees. BJP is a factory of lies. He called to put a break to the BJP’s campaign to constantly deceive Indians through lies,” he urged.

AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, Ministers Sharan Prakash Patil, Priyank Kharge, Ex-Minister Malikaiah Guttedar, KKRDB Chairman Ajay Singh, Guarantee Implementation Committee Chairman H.M.Revanna and others were present.
