When I started reading, ‘The Gifts of Imperfection’ by Brene Brown, I felt confident from the very first page itself that the book would be a very good read. And now as I am done reading, I would gladly recommend reading this book to all those people who need some motivation and want to overcome anxiety disorder. This book is a life-saver that will help one deal with trauma, depression, social and anxiety disorders. And the book will change your life.

Once you finish reading this book, you will have nothing to hold back inside your heart. We will come to a stage where we finally accept all our weaknesses and set to discover what is truly hidden within us. The deep core that fades or dies every second now heals and one is filled with faith, hope, and unconditional love for the universe and within oneself.

Through the book, we get to know various aspects of life and with a little deeper understanding we can carry on many aspects of our life. We can enjoy every guide post and every word saying something. The newly transformed interpretation and life-changing references in the book will open our eyes.

‘The Gifts of Imperfection’ shows how to imbibe your inner shortcomings to accept who you are, rather than constantly chasing an image of who you are trying to be, and what other people expect of you. It doesn’t matter if the gifts of imperfection are not perfect, as Brene says through 10 Guideposts to Wholehearted Living, and Three Gifts of Imperfection. Believing in yourself and making rational decisions are not mutually exclusive. Comparing yourself with other people will make you feel bored and not good. It’s not about working too much as an alternative to the game but it’s about getting depressed. Are you sick to show that you are perfect? Then it’s time we learn how to embrace our gifts of imperfection!
