Bengaluru: Vijaya Mahesh, 62, wife of former minister N. Mahesh passed away on the night of September 5 at 10.20 pm.
N. Mahesh is the first time MLA from Kollegal who recently joined BJP. He was elected as a BSP MLA in the 2018 state assembly election.
Vijaya was a Kannada writer who had travelled extensively across the state with her husband Mahesh to organise the BSP. She was the resource person of BSP for training the cadre.
Her final rites will be held in Kollegal today. Senior leaders consoled her death.
