Bengaluru: D. S. Nagabhushan, who got the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2021 for his book Gandhi Kathana, is no more. He was 70 years old.
His wife Savita Nagabhushan informed that he breathed his last around 12.15 am on Thursday May 19.
Nagabhushan was known for his rationalist thoughts.
Nagabhushan, who pursued MSc in Mathematics, served All India Radio in various capacities before taking voluntary retirement. He was staying at Shivamoggga.
His books on Ram Manohar Lohia and Gandhi were very popular among Kannada readers.
