Mangaluru: SDM Degree College Retired Principal and Secretary of SDM Educational Institutions, Dr. B. Yashovarma (66) passed away on the night of Sunday May 22.
He was undergoing treatment in Singapore, and passed away there after brief illness. He is the brother of Dr. Hemavathi Heggade, wife of Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D. Veerendra Heggade.
Yashovarma received his PhD in the field of Phsycology in 1986 as the previous Principal of SDM College Ujire. He has served through a number of designations including President of Mangalore University Principal’s Association, GGR, Assistant Director, District Chairman, Assistant Governor in Rotary, National Joint Secretary of Bharatiya Jain Milan, Delhi, President of Belthangady Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad and many more.
