Bengaluru: In order to increase awareness and voter turnout among the voters in the run-up to the general assembly elections, the Election Commission of India in association with the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer-Karnataka, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports and National Service Scheme organized a “Mega Walkathon” programme in front of Grand Steps, Vidhana Soudha in the city on Saturday April29.
