Bengaluru: Hundreds of members of The Bharathinagar Citizens’ Forum and members of the public and pro-Kannada organisations staged a massive protest demanding that the Sarvajna Nagar ward number 79, be merged with 199 new Baiyappanahalli ward during the BBMP ward delimitation period. They urged that the status quo be maintained in the Sarvajna Nagar ward, which will immortalise the name of Kannada poet Sarvajna.
